To Join the strip of welt and to compose the roll, the chamfer has to be roughed. The welt chamfer roughing machine has been designed for this purpose.
After the strip has been manually put on a sliding surface, it passes under an
abrasive roller, therefore obtaining the right surface to be successively
cemented.
